Scrap Club layout...

This is the other layout we did at scrap club last month!  I finally decided on my title and got it stamped!  Sometimes it's hard to title if you don't know what pictures you are going to use!  I'm going to put some pictures of my Grandma, mom, sisters and daughters on this page since it is so girlie!  I love the new Bella Rose paper it makes creativity so easy!!  All clubs are full - yea!!  I love it when that happens!  Don't worry though, we have another club renewing in October so there is room to start in November!!  I still have about 10 catalogs left if you are in need of one!  Onto the page information!  This month we did some sewing on the cardstock!  I just love the way it looks!  Everyone else's page looked better than mine because of course you learn as you go!  On their pages we also stitched the large pink section to the Bella Rose layer!

I really like this layout because it is versatile to a big picture or a bunch of smaller pictures!  Plenty of room to journal or add additional embellishments!  I kind of like the page to have limited embellishments since it is really supposed to be about the photos not my supplies!!  Though they do make lovely accents!!  Hope you like it and have a wonderful day!!

This is what they looked like while I was getting them cut!  It was so pretty in person!  I really wanted to keep it all!  I really can't wait to use the Pacific Point striped ribbon!  It is so striking in person!

Christmas Club Projects..

These are the cards we made last night at Christmas Club!  We had a great time even though it was a little crowded with 15!  We are making two cards each month until Christmas so check back often!  I have shown the Lovely as a Tree card before and the Deer Friends card is a swap I received at convention!  LOVE IT!!  Thanks to whoever made the card - they didn't put their info on the back!  Can you believe it??  If that was my card I'd be bragging all over the place!!  LOL!!  Have a great day and I'll chat with you soon!!

Decor Spider and Open House pics...

Here is my last Decor Element - I'm out and will need to order more!!!  I just LOVE LOVE LOVE our Decor Elements!  Really, I'm not just saying that!  I have really had fun with them this weekend!  It is such an Instant Gratification thing for me when they are done!!  Now I just have to figure out what kind of candy I want to put in this big guy!!  It was kind of hard for me to get a good picture because of the flash and the empty jar.  I did try it with some paper inside, but decided this was the best way to go!  It looks kind of spooky!  I know the Decor Elements phase two will be great, but we will all have to hold our breath until it comes out!  I'll let you know as soon as I have the new fliers! 

Some of you have asked how I display things at Open House so I've included two of the pictures from that day.  Actually, both of these are always set up in my stamping area so outside of updating it with the new sets it wasn't that difficult!  I added Set Samplers to the boards instead of just cards!  I like it so much better and it gives tons of ideas for one set!  My up,up,upline Mimi Henwood has these on her boards and I've been wanting to do it for two years!!  Well, no time like the present!!  LOL!  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!

Decor Elements in Entry!

Hello Ladies!  I've been on a Decor Element kick!!  I really like them and they are so easy to use!!  You can link to the current flier through my website at www.stampchic.stampinup.net or give me a call and I'll drop one by your house!! This is the Together Forever circle with a big K in the middle.  Of course, it is for Kennedy but Norah keeps telling people it is for Kindergarten and it is her letter!!  So funny that child of mine!!  It's all about her - and the sooner everyone learns it the better!! 

I think it turned out nice!  My son saw me applying it and went running to dad to tell him that I was putting "girlie stuff" up in the house!  As if those men have any say!  I did get Todd to say he liked it.  Ryan however doesn't and would never admit it now!! Anyway, they are super easy to use and turned out nice on everything I did!  I can't wait for the new line to come out so I can get some more!!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

FREE Stampin'Up!

Well, I've completed the drawing from Open House and have the door prize drawing complete!!  We had some club members win and some new stampers so that is very exciting!!  If you didn't win I hope you aren't too disappointed!  On Saturday morning I did a quick demo of the Decor Element onto the jar!  It turned out super cute and I'm having a hard time parting with the jar!!  I know Missy will give it a good home!!  Congrats Missy!!  If you want to make your own you can purchase a jar most places, mine is from good old Wal-Mart!  They have the exact jar at Target if you prefer them, but it is $1.50 higher in price!  Anyway, go where you like but get the Decor Elements from me!!  Let me know if you would like a flier with our offerings!!  The jar goes to Missy C., Sherbet Ribbon Originals to Mary B., Jersey Ribbon Originals to Ann C., SU Designer Chapstick and Key finder to both Misti Edwards and Deb Butland!  Congratulations ladies!!  if you will be at Club on Monday I'll give them to you then!  If not, feel free to swing by anytime!!  I still have a spot for ONE Christmas Club member and ONE Scrap Club member!  Give me a call if you are interested!!  Have a wonderful day!!

Scrap Club layout...

This is one of the two pages we did for Scrap Club last night!  We still have room for one more person if you are interested in being our September hostess and earning a FREE stamp set give me a call!!  Today is our first day of school so I did this layout for my son and I'll do another more "girlie" layout for the girls!  I sometimes use retired items with scrap club because once they do a layout they don't generally purchase what I used like a card class would want to be able to do!  The wheel is retired and the stamp set is on the dormant list!  The alphabet is Short Order, which is NOT retired!! I used Summer Picnic paper so the people with girls could flip the stripe over and have the green apples instead!  This layout will hold a 5 x 7, two 3 1/2 x 5 and five 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 pictures.  I try to make the layouts hold multiple pics, but I do like one big picture!  Of course, I had to have Mrs. Tapp sneak in behind Ryan to get a picture of him with her - THANKS Mrs. Tapp!!  I need to get some stuff done so have a great day and thanks for checking out the blog!! 

The Tins are done!!

Well, I finally finished the tins for a local PTO!  They are selling gift cards and wanted some cute packaging to go along with the gift cards!  I made 50+ tins so they would have a variety!  I will also be selling these at booths I am doing this fall. 

So far I'll be at two booths and if anyone out there needs a Stampin'Up! booth at their venue I'd love to come meet your patrons!  Just give me a call!  I'll be placing an order for additional tins because I am almost out!!  I have a few customers that want them too and if you are local and interested just give me a call!  The more we purchase the cheaper they are for all of us!!  I hope you have a great weekend and I'll post again on Monday!  I've got to go create the pages for Scrap Club tomorrow night!  We do have ONE spot left if anyone wants to join us!!  It's Julie's turn to host if anyone wants to put an order in to help her out!!  Thanks for checking out the blog and if I get some more time I'll post some Open House pictures later!  Still trying to put the house back together!! 

Convention..

I was coming upstairs to post to my blog when I came across this in my path....

She will be starting kindergarten on Monday and we're a little sad!!  Me, the dog will be thrilled!!  Poor guy, can never get a moment of peace with her around!!  If you ever look for a family dog I can't say enough good things about Boxers!  They look fierce (at times) and are just big lovers!  You should see him cozy up to my stampers!  Though, he hates the UPS guy!!  Not me - I love the UPS guy!!  Can't wait until he delivers my new stuff!!  It shipped this morning so next week you should see some new things!! 

For now, here is another picture from convention!!  This is one I took because I liked the concept of the snow globe!!  Christmas Club members will probably see one of these before club ends!!  I still have three spots if anyone is interested in joining us!!  Here is the pic and have a wonderful day!!  It's a little drizzly here in KC, perfect for stamping!! 

Card Class....

Hello Ladies!!  I don't have much time today because we are getting ready for Open House this Saturday from 9 to 1 if you are in the KC area!!!  Also, the kids go back to school on Monday and they want to get some "fun" in at the last minute!!  This is a pic of the cards we will be making at Open House for the card class!  Please reserve a spot if you can, I will have limited walk in stacks cut!!  I hope you all can make it!!  I am also running a special on In Color for the Open House.  If you can't make it and want to order please let me know!  I'm happy to ship it right to you!!  Download in_color_open_house_special.doc This special ends Saturday at 1 pm! 

The cards are a few different sizes - variety is the spice of life after all!! There should be something for everyone!  The pink "regular" size card was cased/copied from my upline, Angie Juda.  The rest I created with new sets and of course a new set to me, Punch Pals for the snowman card!  They are quick and easy for any level of stamper!  The class cost is 5 for $5 as a customer appreciation event!
