Kit by Mail!! Stamp a Stack cards...

Well, I've decided to do a Kit by Mail!  If you are a stamper in an area without a local demonstrator to attend classes or just prefer to do your stuff at home then this is for you!!  I'll send you all of the consumable supplies including card stock, envelopes and ribbon cut to specification and detailed instructions on how to assemble the 13 cards!  All you need at home are stamp sets, ink and adhesive!!  If you are a demonstrator that hates to prep card stock then this will work for you also!!  Kits are $20 plus $6 shipping, you can order additional kits for $18 so if you need more than 13 cards you will have them!  I can't imagine anything less expensive!!  Give it a try, I'm sure you will love it!!  I don't have paypal, but you can email me at tvkennedy@sbcglobal.net or call at 913-481-3304 on my Sprint phone and I can take a credit card over the phone or give you my mailing address for a check!  Kits will be mailed by November 15th!!  All orders must be placed by November 6th!  The cards are pictured here...

Halloween Scrapbook Layout for October Club!!

This is one of the two layouts we did at Scrap Club this month!  I just love that Just Jawing set!  So glad I got it and even more glad I got it FREE!  If you would like to get it free just host a workshop totaling over $350 and it's all yours!! Pumpkin Carving Party Invitation...

Hello Stampers!!  Hope you are having a great day!  We were quite busy, which is why I'm posting at night!!  Things are really picking up around here which is very exciting and also very time consuming!  I hope you all are having success in your life as well!  Today's post is the invitation I created for our annual pumpkin carving night!  It could easily be a Halloween card also or a start to a fun scrapbook page!  For our carving night we had a Chili Throwdown!  I'm sad to say that Bobby Flay did not show up!  Oh well, maybe next year!!  I also saw Dawn did a really cute "do-rag" on this guy and I'm going to have to try that out next!!  Hope you enjoy it...

Christmas Stamp a Stack #4!!

Ok, this was our final card!  It is cased from Regina Corneius, Stampsalot blog!  She is very talented and I like the ease of her cards!!!  Very much like my style!!  I changed very little on this card because it was just what I was looking for with Mr. Twigster!  I love the whitewash look of his body!  We used a re-inker for Craft Whisper White and a paintbrush to get him covered!  It looks very white when you start but then the card stock soaks up the ink and you have a bit of a white wash, subtle look!  If you want him really white I think you might need to use the Gel Pen!  Anyway, it was a quick, easy way to color him and worked better for me than an Aqua painter! 

I'm starting to prep for my November events!  I have four clubs, one booth, one workshop and a class on the books!!  My goal is to have two workshops each month so if you are interested in getting some ladies together to make some Christmas Cards give me a call!  I'd love to host a workshop in my stamping area for you or we can go to your house if you prefer!!

Christmas Stamp a Stack #3 - Elves!

This is our third card from Stamp a Stack!  I really like this set, but sometimes struggle with how much to color.  Since it was a Stamp a Stack I did minimal coloring!  I've also designed a card with the same layout for Christmas Club using the snowmen from this set!  I really like it and it's super easy to use, so if you need a set that can be used for quick cards this one is for you!

Christmas Stamp a Stack Card #2!

Ok, this is probably one of my favorite recent cards - and I didn't design it!!  My upline, Angie Juda, aka Chicnscratch designed the card.  She did it in pink and brown - super cute!!  One of my new favorites is Baja Breeze!  I never quite got over losing Cool Caribbean so I didn't embrace the Soft Sky last year!  I LOVE the Baja Breeze!!  It looks great with just about anything so it is easy to use!!  Here I used it with Sahara Sand and just love it!!  I let each person use the Big Shot so they could see how easy it is to use!  This was the only "non-traditional" Christmas card we did at Stamp a Stack!  I never know how people feel about colors outside of Red/Green for Christmas so I try to stay traditional in my classes!!  This card is so pretty in person with the shimmery white paper - it's hard to tell in a picture, but it is very sparkly!! 

Tonight we have our annual Pumpkin Carving party!  It's our 2nd annual, but you have to start somewhere!  We have added a Chili Throw-down to the party so that will be fun!!  We hope Bobby Flay will surprise us with a drop in, but just in case he doesn't show I do have some Secret Judges coming over!! (he-he)  I'll post the invitation tomorrow so you can see it!!  Here is today's card...

Christmas Stamp a Stack Card #1

Club for him card!!

This is our "masculine" version of our his and hers club cards!  I designed this card for my dad's birthday in November!  We used the Joseph's Coat technique and some sponge daubers on the tree!  Super fun and such a great effect!  I added the paper piercing to my card because I thought it needed something more!!  Anyway, hope you enjoy it!!  I'll post the stamp a stack cards later this week - they turned out very nice!!  We had a busy weekend of stamping and the Autism walk was a great event!!  I'm sure they are still taking donations if anyone didn't get that accomplished!!

Christmas Club Card with Illuminations!

This was the other card we made at Christmas Club!  We also stamped the inside with Baroque Motifs (swirl) and the sentiment from Snow Swirled!  This has been such a fun club because I love Christmas Cards!!  We will also be making 13 cards and envelopes at my Christmas Stamp a Stack on Sunday.  I have a couple of spots left if you are interested!  We will be using the Big Shot, Holiday Lineup, Mr. Twigster and several other fun products from Stampin'Up!  Reserve you spot today with a phone call or email!  I did an event yesterday with the Charitable Chicks at the Blue Valley School District Offices to benefit the Blue Valley Education Foundation!  I loved meeting a bunch of new stampers and hope to see you all at a class soon!
