Scrapbook Layout #2 for January Class...

Here was our second layout for January's class!  I've had some questions about selling my scrapbook kits online and I am working on the logistics!  So, check back soon for a kit or class planner soon!  If you were at the Olathe Bible Church scrapbooking night tonight you are probably wondering what February 28th is...  Well, it's Sale-A-Bration Stamp a Stack!  Come over to stamp 13 cards plus envelopes in my stamping workroom for $25!  Everything is provided so you don't have to worry about forgetting your adhesive!  Of course there will be snacks, specials and if class is full Door Prizes!  So, bring your friends and let's make some cards!

Big Shot Stampin'Up! Exclusive die basket!!

Ok, now this is so fun!  When I first received this die I was a little disappointed because it is an envelope die and I thought a gift card would fit inside the envelope.  No such luck!  So, I put it to the side for several months!  Well, I saw someone do this little basket with it on Splitcoast and voila!  Love it!  I made some of these on Saturday at the Big Shot class and instantly thought Easter Basket!  Well, I decided to make one for Norah's teacher for valentine's Day!  I still need to do the tag and fill it, but I really like it thus far!!  Once they are done for all of the teachers I'll take a pic for you!

Isn't that cute!  It's the perfect little Valentine basket!  I think I'll put some Chocolate and a Tastefully Simple sample in there!  I've got to run to the doctor, but will be adding this die shape to my Big Shot shapes store later today!  Be sure to come back and check it out!  This is retired paper, so I will make some with current paper and card stock to show you!

This isn't the best picture, next time I'll be sure to put it on the easel!  We make two 12 x 12 layouts at club and do allow visitors to come to club!  So, if you are in need of some layouts we meet the third Wednesday of each month at 7 pm!  Just drop me a line so I prep enough materials!

Valentine Basket for treats at school or office!

This is the little basket the kindergartners in Norah's class will be getting at the Valentine's Day party!  I'm trying to decide if I'm going to do a "boy" version too.  What do you think?

They probably won't care about the pink as long as the candy inside is good!  I'm just going to have Norah write her name on the tag before I add the flower!  And I'll probably use silver brads instead of my rhinestone ones!  I don't think the kindergartener's will care!!

Say it with Scallops...

I really like this set for a quick Thank You card and it is also a nice set for cards to give as a gift!  The first card we did at class and the rest I just made up for a set to use for a future hostess gift! 

The best thing about this set is that Stampin'Up! donates $$ to the Ronald McDonald house organization each time you purchase this set!  So, if you don't have it yet you will want to add it to your wish list!! 

Inside the card we stamped the flower image from Inspired by Nature in Baja Breeze on the left side.  It is so nice to open the card and have that splash of color!

  Here is a quick picture of some of the cards from the set I did..  They are slight variations on the original card using the scallop punch in place of ribbon.  That would really make an affordable card for a large class! I also changed the paper a bit because I had used all of the other pieces during class!  Still looks nice!! 

It's so sad...

When good stamps create bad cards!!  Here is my bad card entry of the day!!  Trying to play with this set and NOT use black and yellow only!  Well, back to the drawing board!!  I'm using two new sets from the new catty that we could pre-order as demonstrators!  Yes, it's a perk!!  Join me at my downline meeting on Monday and find out all of the perks!!! 

The inside is pretty cute, but it's probably the same as everyone's!  I used Crystal Effects on my honey!  Kind of in a Crystal Effects mood these days!!  I do like the glitter on his wings!  And, of course, I love the grass made with ribbon!  Outside of that it's a bust! 

I'm trying not to rant and rave about how angry I am with Best Buy and their delivery service!  I'm sure it is my fault for asking God for patience!  I've got to learn to stop praying for patience because every time I do I get a chance to exercise my patience!!!  My new refrigerator was to be delivered today and it's NOT coming!  Ugh!!  Another day of soup and no ice cubes!  Anyway, I've yelled at the delivery people, the store manager and my husband!  I won't yell at anyone else!  But, I am ordering out for dinner!  There, I found a silver lining!!

Stampin'Up! 2009 Spring catalog has arrived!!

They are here and I'm so excited!!  I'm getting them ready to be handed out on Sunday!  IF you can wait please do because it is so fun to look at it together!  The Open House is Sunday from 6 to 9 at my house and we will be stamping, eating and drooling over the new catty!  Everyone is welcome, but a reservation for FREE stamping is appreciated so supplies can be prepared!! If you have not reserved a copy of the catty I have a few extras (actually only 5 extra) so call me if you are planning to come and you want your name on one of the extras!! I'll take a pic of them once I get them all stickered and prepped for Sunday!! Six cases are a lot to prepare!   

Technique Class Card using Ink, Spray& Smash!

This is the second card we made at Technique Class this month.  A little messy, but a wonderful effect!

The picture looks a little funny, but this is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card.  We used the Ink, Spray & Smash technique for the background and Bella's Bloom for the stamp set.  It's a cute little set and quite affordable!  Open House is this Sunday from 6 to 9 so please mark your calendars and swing by!
